I have been a busy, busy bee.
My current schedule is kind of crazy. i am in school full time, running cross country, working 4 days a week, and trying to have a life. i have been to too many weddings lately. and baby showers. and restaurants. which leads me to this. i love to make my own food. but i don't really like to cook for a large group of people that i do not know because there are too many obstacles in place. what if sunny doesn't like garlic, or charlie is allergic to peanuts, or molly hates tomatoes? these are problems.
but for me, i like to try new things. and fortunately, i have the opportunity to not only cook, but to teach my client how to cook as well. so cool. (i work for a lovely lady who has epilepsy. basically, i get paid to hang out with her and help her live on her own).
so i had this piece of salmon. i've never baked salmon before. how hard could it be?
here's my partially over-defrosted fillet. so far, so good.

then i stir fried some veggies in a thick soy dressing, made some brown rice, and threw it together.
so, without further ado,
MY SALMON BOWL!!!!!
and the crowd goes wild!!! dang, that makes me wish this was wild caught. pretty sure it was farmed. it was cheap.
but it wasn't dry. flava.
three cheers for the cheat!
